It’s not clear to me if the author would be the spanker or the spankee, but either way… rawr!

Here we have a story in four parts, all from the same fellow who apparently spends a lot of time in line watching non-speaking people send money via “Western Union” (if that is its real name).

Just last week Friday, I was at my local Public grocery store here in Lake City, Florida and I was at the service desk. There were about 20 non-speaking young men, in line a hard of me. They were all sending money back home to Mexico using “Western Union”. These men sent over $20,000.00 while I waited. Just then I lucky a extra casher came to help with the line and I whispered that is at lot of money going to Mexico and with that she whispered, they send over $100,000.00 from here every month. I left there and went to fill my car up with gas, when I went in to pay there were about 10 more non-speaking young men, in line a hard of me. There were all cashing there pay check and wiring money back home to Mexico. I added up about $10,000.00 being sent by them. This station caters to them and the clerk I know fairly well, told me they make a lot of money wiring there money to Mexico and the send about $100,000.00 every month to Mexico. Last night I was at my local Food Lion and only had 3 item and go in line at the service desk. I was shocked to seen a long line of non-speaking young men, in line ahead of me sending money back to Mexico using there “Western Union.” I watch close to $30,000.00 being sent from there. (source)

Because none of them speck English the lines take for every to be handled. I hear nothing on the news about this. Not only are they taking jobs from American but there sending our money to help the Mexican economy. We can all see our economy is in such a big mess, with our un-employment running at a recorded high. How is this being fixed by our Government? Extending more unemployment benefits to our unemployed people. I personally know 8 people that are enjoying these checks every week. There are making about fifty ($50.00) dollars a week less and do not had to work at all, and to top if all off non of them are not even looking for work, but are willing to stand in line at the store watching our money being sent to Mexico and think nothing of it. I feel everyone of the non-documented works should be sent back to Mexico as soon as there caught! There should be NO WORK PROGRAMS for them. The live in shacks here and 20 of them ride around in a old junk van, the live on cheep Mexican food and send all there money back home to Mexico. Where will this all end? Talk about time for a change! Before it is to late! That time has come. Everyone in Washington should be put out of office and most of them will lever with the next election for sure. (source)

I finally read your book, better late than never, and throughly enjoyed it. I have always been with the Mama Grizzlies now I am a GRAMA GRIZZLY. I wish more people thought for themselves rather than listening to what others are saying and without thinking fall on the bandwagon. they better wake up soon or our country is not going to be the one founded on the peoples rights and freedom. We are slowly loosing our freedom and it boggles my mind that I have friends who do not see it. I am old enough to hope that in my lifetime I will be OK, except for medical care, but I fear for my children and grandchildren. We are definately becoming a welfare state! (source)

Thank you for ALL you are doing for AMERICA and ALASKA!!! You are a FLAG-bearer WITH THE PIONEER SPIRIT- we need to get our country back on track. As a couple we are 78 AND 80 and can remember the 1930s when we all had to help each other with very little money, not enough jobs for people at low pay which we were thankful for,and a DOLLAR that was worth so much more than today.
