Praying For You (to go to Hell)
Sarah and Family…please know that you are in our prayers daily. It’s so sad that people like Joe McGinniss live and breath to turn over that next rock to see what worms they can unearth. It’s so hard, but I’m praying now for Ole miserable Joe McGinniss. His life is obviously void of any real and true happiness. If only he had God in his life he wouldn’t be so shallow and such a lonely poor soul that he is. He has become a betrayer of mankind, for 30 pieces of silver he has sold his soul…for what? Well Ole Joe…you will find out in due time. (source)
Praying for one’s enemies is a worthy goal, if you are a Christian. It helps you to realize that the person you call an enemy is one of God’s children, just like you are. They are sinful, just like you. They rely on grace, just like you. It might even help you to understand your enemy.
It doesn’t really help your case when you then proceed to gloat that your enemy is going to hell, just like you aren’t, because you aren’t your enemy.
(Also, in this analogy, is Sarah Palin Jesus?)
